Brandon's 9th Birthday...

I say it every time one of the kids celebrate a birthday. Where does the time go?! My sweet little boy turned 9 last Saturday! Its been a fun, crazy and entertaining 9 years. From colic to just his crazy and fun sense of humor Brandon has always been my handful. There is no question about it though, Brandon brings so much joy to our family. We love you big guy!!

Ok so I admit it....

I've been the worst blogger in the history of bloggers! But I have my reasons, just excuses really...but I'm here now to give a much needed update to the Corsaro family journal I guess you could say. :)

Soooo where to start?!
The kids finished off another successful school year. Alyssa will be starting the 8th grade here next month! Yes! I am very aware high school is right around the corner, seriously, where does the time go?! And our handsome handful AKA Brandon will be going into 4th grade. Gabriella, of course will continue her duties of depriving her poor over worked daddy of sleep. Won't be long until she'll be starting school too. Time really does slip by.

Jeff and Brandon took off for a week last month to wrestle in Pocatello, Idaho for Western Regionals. The wrestling part didn't go so well, but the guys had a BLAST and in the end that's all that matters. The girls and I stayed back in Vegas and filled our days with what we do best....SHOPPING!

Alyssa's big dance show was last month as well. She danced as graceful as ever. Its been fun to watch her grow and mature with dance. Shes beautiful! I'll post some pictures. :)

Both the girls are now enrolled in the summer dance intensive program. Though Gabriella's is only one class (baby ballet) and hardly counts as intense. Alyssa on the other hand dances from 1-7:30 almost non stop. They get two 15 min. breaks and its back to the studio. She comes out tired and sore and happy as ever. Its awesome to see her passion. I hope she passes the drive and love for dance on to Gabriella.

Brandon is taking a break this summer from wrestling and jiu jitsu. Besides a few weekly "training" sessions with daddy we're just letting him take some time to just be a kid. He works hard from September thru June and last season was an especially hard one as he moved up with bigger kids and the amount of traveling that him and Jeff did. Well, it makes me tired to just think about!

I promise to try and be better. I do like having this blog to look back on and I'm sad I've let it go. Soooo...keeping my fingers crossed I'll keep it up. :)
