To Team Nevada and most importantly the boys of Team GV as they head out today for Western Regionals in Idaho. I REALLY wish we were coming along this year, but Jeff was unable to get the time off work. Next year for sure!

Ok, ok...I promise, this will be the last post about Alyssa for awhile. Though, in my defense, during wrestling season it's ALL about my boy.
Just wanted to share this picture of Alyssa. She had dance pictures last Saturday. The photographer loved her...and of course, so do we!
Every year I take a picture of the kids on the first and last day of school. I have no idea why, except just for the memory.
Tonight I was going through my pictures and saw the first day of school pictures. She's sporting her glasses and leggings under her skirt. Now, don't get me wrong...of course I still think she's cute.
What I do see is by the end of the year she ditched the leggings and just wore the skirt, the glasses are gone and the hair has a new style.
6th grade has to be the biggest year of change for Alyssa yet. Not only for her looks, but her personality as well. She's always been thoughtful and caring but this year I've seen it even more. I'm proud of her for who she is, smart, talented, caring, funny and dare I say a perfect daughter. 
She'll kill me for saying this...just a side note. She wore the same skirt on the first and last day of school.
It's ok Alyssa, plenty of people wear the same thing more than once. ; )
That's the name of this years dance show. It full of both old and new songs and I have to say..it's a great show.
Most of you know we are not allowed to take pictures during the show so every year I go to the final dress rehearsal to take pictures and video tape. As you can see, my pictures are not the greatest...the lighting and smoke machines tend to get in the way. That's ok though, they do hire a professional and his pictures are always much better.
I love to see Alyssa dance. Just watching her you can feel her passion she has for it. She works the stage and her confidence is amazing. Way to go, Alyssa! I'm so proud of you.
